And what about Animal Rights...

Animal rights, this sentence make feel that humans are not animals, in fact all humans seems to describe ourselves as a kind of superior been, therefore, we have different rights.

The Human believe that is the owner of this world and so, he can do what he want with animals, environment and the Word in general. In this way, “animal rights” had been created to defend animal against human exploitation.

The human ambition is not restricted to animals but also humans. Don’t have respect for nothing and no one. But it can change, animal rights defenders are the exceptions.

I’m agree with “animal rights” in general, I dislike the idea to make suffer animals (including humans).

I really like animals, I consider them interesting and fascinating. In fact I used to have a dog called “Foxy”, that was the best dog in the world, and a cat called “Simon”, that was the best cat in the world to. I used to talk with him and he answer me, but only to me not to my family. They died recently about a month ago and I feel very sad. The first in die was Simon, and a week later died Foxy. Since then be at home is not the same. But I have another pet that’s still alive, is a cat called “Fifi” and I don’t like her very much (sorry Fifi).

I always wondered how it’s feel to be an animal, an eagle or kind of bird to could fly, feel the freely wind in my face. I think that that’s the most perfect feeling that anyone could experiencing.

Is obvious that I won’t feel or think the same that I used to feel or think now, my entire world will change, but it could be interesting.

 

   

Green Attitude

When we talk about protect the environment we should ask ourselves if
we have care of environment practices. But, how do we get it? There
are some campaigns that teach of the environment, those are carried
out in school, high school, various institutions and companies. Those
campaigns tells us about the importance of recycling, about the
correct use of water and energy saving.

In terms of looking after the environment, is essential to not
contaminate, so, is recommended ride a bicycle or use public
transport. Personally, I use the public transport every day. In
sometimes, I ride my bicycle brother’s to get to university, but it’s
a long trip, and I get very tired so I do not use it very much.
I am not very good recycling, in fact I usually recycling in the
university in specialized areas where recycling (separating cardboard,
glass and aluminum. But I would like to do other things, like separate
garbage from my house, but I am a very lazy man.

But if we stop to think a little, there isn’t a great interest by the
government to protect the environment, leaving it to private companies
in charge of providing the services (electricity, water,
transportation, etc.).

Therefore, is not uncommon to see “chispita” on television talking
about ho save energy.The only visible government interest in looking after the environment
is the progressive construction of cycle ways in Santiago (I really
don’t know if there’s an initiative like this in others regions of the
country).

In conclusion, I defend that we should care more the planet before is too late.

music

Hi, today I m going to tell you about something that is really important to me, Music.
Music for me is not just a simple couple of songs, or sounds with rhythm. Music to me is like an emotion, make me feel anger or sad, give me energy to continue an activity when I am feeling down or tired.

Personally I prefer to ear grunge music, like Pearl Jam or Alice in Chains. Because grunge contains a mixture of rebellion, sadness and emotion that most of stile music don’t have. My favorite group is Stone Temple Pilots, the vocalist have the perfect voice to sing grunge.

I particularly dislike the regeaton, that’s not music. Everyone can do regaeton, just mix a few tracks with rhythm and about sex and there you have, you are a regaeton singer.

I don’t really play any instrument, I was learning how to play guitar, but I let it because I do not have time. But I am not a bad singer; I like to sing in the shower, I know that’s different singing in a concert or a real song.

I think that music is very important to the human expression, you can say many things that you could not tell openly because political, religious or ethics consequences. Music can be one of the more important means of expression, especially in very restricted countries.

Well, today I’m going to talk you about a new, a website new. But I doubt about it’s a new, because it’s a university guide talking about the career of psychology so that’s why I pick it.

To give you an idea what talk about the “article”, it’s gives us a subject profile of psychology, what is psychology, What will you learn if you study psychology, What skills will you gain, wheat job can you get and what will looking good in your cv.

The article begins telling us what psychology is; the study of human mind to better understand how and why people act the way they do.

We will learn the way the brain use and process information. We will look and understand child development and stand how works personality, memory, emotion and motivation, among others. And we can also study this subject as a joint degree.

We will develop good research skills, we will study past research papers and study and have a base of knowledge and we also will have a critical and independent thinking. And we can get also additional information talking with a psychologist.

We will have to choose what kind of psychologist we want to be, a clinical, educational, forensic, health or occupational psychologist. And as graduate psychologist we can job teaching, social work, the media and healthcare.

And in the CV we will have “the ability to apply multiple perspectives to psychological issues and the ability to identify and evaluate general patterns of behaviour”.

Euthanasia

The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word Euthanasia is Dr. Death (Jack Kevorkian), a very popular northamerican doctor that was indicted for practice indirectly euthanasia to his patients. He used a machine called “Thanatron” that allows the patients self-administered lethal chemicals to end with they lifes. His motto of life was “died is not a crime”. That’s also the most famous case of euthanasia that I know.

But, what do I think about euthanasia? I think as Dr. Death in a certain way, died is not a crime, and if there is a person with a terminal disease without no possibility of recovery and its causes the patient a great pain I think that euthanasia is a legitimate solution, but only with those conditions. And as I don’t have religion, it does not matters me, (the euthanasia I mean).

However, the Chilean government doesn’t think like me or Dr. Death. This assisted suicide is not allowed legally in Chile. They doesn’t see euthanasia with all its benefits, they doesn’t respect personal freedom to decide what to do with hi/her life.

Travelling!!!

I can think in only one thing, travel, travel and travel. That’s the only thing that I want to do now. I would like to travel around Chile, firstly to north of Chile and then to south. But I also I always wanted to visit Europe, specifically Rome or Greece, but I never have been to. I would like to go there to see the classical architecture and the old buildings, like Partenon or the Coliseum. And I like to make a videotape about myself travelling around those old cities. But if I realist, I would not like to live or work in those cities many time, I admit that could be great at the beginning, but then the city could lost the magic to me I think, if I go to Rome for example and if I live in there, the coliseum won’t be the same if I look it all the time, do you know what I mean. And I like to live in Chile, and travel around it; it’s a beautiful country with many landscapes. So, I really want to travel around the world but I like Chile very much.

The Cinema

You can’t imagine what I going to talk about today!, yeah, it’s about CINEMA!! Firstly I am going to talk you about my impression about the cinema or movies. Then, I will continue telling you about my favourite movie, and why it’s what likes the most. After that, I will tell you a little of my likes and dislikes kind of movies, because not all movies are worthy to see.

Well, I don’t will lie to you, I’m not a big lover of movies, in fact, I don’t see a lot of movies. I don’t rent them and I don’t download or buy them. I’m really boring in that aspect.

About my favourite Chilean film, I don’t have one, but about movies in general I need to tell you that I had 3 favourites movies. “the lord of the ring”, because I like the fantasy world that shows the movie. “la vida es bella”, because it’s a really beautiful movie that tells us about the sacrifice of a father and the other movie that likes me is ”the road”, another movie that tells us about the great effort of a father at the end of the world to care his son.

I need to tell you that I dislike the romantic movies, because they are predictable and boring. But I really like the action, existential and fantasy movies very much.

 But if I honest with you, if someone made a movie about me it could be a sad one at the beginning, but then change the history completely, so I think that it could be a interesting movie.
