Bye Bye Blogs... :D!!!

Well, about the Blog sessions I can say that was a good experience to improve my English, in general, doing the blogs was not a difficult work, but in sometimes it was very boring, maybe the topic  of certain blogs were boring so, realize them was boring because I did it for obligation rather than learning. But, I have to recognize, the topics were very funny and I enjoyed write the blogs. So, in that specifics topic I like it very much, specially when I had to find a image that represent the topic of the blog and I find a very funny images (jejeje).

But, what about the effectiveness of made blogs in the English class. Well, in that case I could say that it have an advantages, like search in the internet a word that you need to use in the class (or blog) but you don’t know how to say it in English, or if you have a doubt about the spelling of a word, you could write the word in a translator and know the spelling of that word. But it has also disadvantages, like the distraction of the internet, like been in facebook, MSN or twitter. But I think that it could be an advantage and a disadvantage as well. Why? Because you can chat with other people that speak English, so you could ask them about it. For example, I chat (not necessary in classes) with a friend that speak English, but he also speak Spanish, so he could explain me something that I don’t know in Spanish if required. I thought that it could help me to improve my English, but I didn’t really believe it. But when I try to write in English it become easier. So, I think, like chatting, making blogs is a good way to improve the skills to speak, write and understand English.

Books, a great topic to go to sleep

Well, the last book I read was “Sobre la condición social de la Psicología” of the Chilean epistemologist Carlos Perez. And I choose it because it was the last book I read, not for personal preference but for “obligation”. I must read it or I’d failed in the test.

 It’s an interesting book that talks us about the development of psychology since it was established as an Institution. The author talks us about how this discipline has been change trough the years, how the study object has been modified and how the different currents in psychology can be understood as human constructions and, according to that, say that the kind of knowledge that produced psychology depends of the currents and, the social conditions in a specific time.

This is a very important thing if you are studying psychology and if you don’t, this is important if you want to know a little bit of psychology. Say that psychology is a human construction has a several implications:

• All kind of knowledge in psychology depends of the perspective that you are seeing it.
• Psychology doesn’t have the “truth” there are only theories (more or less supported).
• As a construction has a beginning and therefore could have an end.

Psychology talks about the subjectivity of its specific time (in a sociohistorical context).

If someone, everyone, read this, that person could think that psychology is not necessary or is an invention and, in that way says that psychology doesn’t have purpose to be. There can’t be more wrong thought. The same thing we’d say about history or philosophy. In opposition to this statement, I‘d say that there is no more needed thing that psychology, it allows us to live in balance with are feelings, thoughts and emotions.

Fuck You Tree

This is a wonderful picture that reflects all the beauty of nature, the capacity of nature to see the existence with another eyes. This is the Fuck U tree as I called it. And if you ask me about who took it I really dont know, I just take it from Google images. Also, I really don’t know when was took it, I think it was take in winter, because the tree does not have leafs .

And what it shows is like the tree has an arm and it’s lifting the middle finger, it’s seems like the tree is living. It’s so funny, The firts time I saw it (about fifteen minutes ago) I was laughing like a crazy. But in silence, because sounds rare that people hear you laugh long time. This picture shows us what do we have to do when life turn you back. It’s so simple, is the nature expressing its desagreement against the action of men. Suffice it to say that this is a very strange picture, in fact, only a few persons will see it. So , you are with luck if you see something like this.

To me, the tree is anger with the human action, because we are destroying its environment. If you ask me, I will anger to if someone came to my house and start to drestoy everything. Clearly, this is an rare interpretation, and obviuosly, I really don’t think like a nature lover. If I saw this tree I’ll back the same gesture that it does to my...jejeje.

EarthQuake!! !!!! !!!!

If I need to think what could be the best day of my life, I really don’t have idea. None of the days of my life can be considered as the best day of my life. This because all the days of my life are important and I dont prefer any day specifically. But if my life depend of choose one day in particular, I choose the day of the last earthquake. 14 febrery 2010. This day because was my first earthquake, and change the way that I see the earth movements. Also, in that day I was not in a good condition, I has been drinking in my friend’s house and…well, you know, body doesn´t react like everyone expected.

After of that, I was playing cards with my friends when the mother of my friend arrives. He went to open the door. I  was really dizzy in that moment so I went to the bathroom to refresh myself. Later than that I came back to the table that wea were playing cards, in that moment the light went out and my friend and his mother went to find a candle, because it was very late. I was with another friend in the courtyard playing card, when suddenly the earth began to move. I think it was be a very short and weak move, so I continued playing cards. My friend told me: Dud!!...its became stronger. But I continued playing cards. My friend told me again: Man…It’s an earthquake. But I still playing cards. And the move became stronger than I expected, in that moment I stand up of the chair and went to the center of the house to wait the end of the earthquake.

And that’s the nice part of the earthquake in my life.

Cellphone...

My favorite piece of thecnology is my cellphone. I got it about two months ago. Was a gift from my brother. I reallly like it. I used it to listen my favorite music in the public transport, I also used to weak me up with it´s alarm and I used it to remember me the important dates, birthdays of my friends and the dates of my test (like the english exposition) too. And when I´m really boring I haven´t nothing to do I used it to play games, to kill time. And if someone asks me about why I like it, i´ll answer that is the most important thing of my life (the most important material thing), without it I´m nothing, because my memory in very useless. For example, the other day I had to go to the dentist and I didn´t because my cellphone turn off. Another day I had assistantship and I didn´t go. Why? Because my cellphone get without power. Is always the same thing, I always forget something, like wake up, the birthdays of my friends, etc… But if I take it seriously, this is a hugh problem all my life stop when I haven´t my cellphone, I´m lost in time.

Rome, Rome Rome...!!!

Rome is the capital city of Italy, the boot of the Mediterranean, the craddle of the Latin language and the Roman civilization. Personally, if someone asks me if i want to go somewhere before I die, I`ll answer that that place will be Rome. Why? Because the particular architecture of the buildings can tell us about the history and the evolution of this particular culture. A culture that not only tells us about the develoment of Italy (in many ways) but also speaks about the development of the Latin Languages and, in a historical way, about the development of the Catolic Religion. That´s way the infrastructure and the art of this particular part of the world not only has evolved with society, but has also embodied the streets with this concepts (of art and history).

I`d like to visit this place to see the historical meaning of the buildings and the Classical art. Is one of the things that I need to do before i become dust. But if someone asks me if I ant t olive there I really doubt it. Because isn´t the same thing go out to buy the breakfast and see the Coliseum (everyday) that see the Coliseum only a few times and see in eery visit to it one detail diferent of this historical building.

If someone read this would belive that I´m saving Money to go there, but not. If some day I have the opportunity to go to Rome, great!, if not, great too.

But what about if I want to go whit company…well, time will decide that. 

grunge

Pearl Jam is one of the first group of Grunge music. The Grunge is based in Rock from 70`s and Punk. This stile is characteristic for its modify sound guitar and the scream and lonely voice of the vocalist. Its was a popular stile in the 90`s (the explosion of Grunge in 1991-1992, with group like Alice and Chains, Nirvana and Soundgarden). Pearl Jam born in Seattle, Washington in 1990. Pearl Jam broked the mainstream with its debut album, “Ten”. That disck was (and still is) one of the most popular discks of Grunge of all times. The Ten also contain the most popular songs of the group, like Alive, Jeremy, Black, Porsh among others. In present, if you talk about Grunge, the name “Pearl Jam”or “Nirvana” appears in your mind (only if you know a little of music), the voice of Eddie Veder (Pearl Jam) or Kurt Cobain (Nirvana) sound in your ears and leave you a sad sensation. Actually, the Grunge doesnt exist, but you could remember the good times of the 90`s and hear the product of the Grunge in the actuality, the post Grunge, with groups like Creed, Staind andNickelBlack.
